Work through these steps in order after installing Angel. Each step names the settings as they appear on the theme customization page and links to the full explanation.

Turn on the maintenance page
Turn on «تفعيل صفحة الصيانة» (enable the maintenance page), then add your mobile number or email to «المستخدمون المعتمدون» (approved users) so you can see the store while you work. Skip this step if you are customizing an unpublished copy of the theme. Maintenance page

Choose the theme's appearance
In «مظهر الثيم» (theme appearance), choose light only, dark only or automatic. If you choose dark or automatic and your logo is dark, upload «شعار المتجر في المظهر الداكن» (the dark-mode logo). Dark mode

Set up the header
Set «حجم شعار المتجر في أعلى الصفحة» (header logo size) and «لون خلفية أعلى الصفحة» (header background), and turn on «تفعيل شريط التنقل أسفل الشاشة» (bottom navigation bar) if you want a fixed bar on phones. Header and announcement bar

Add your font (optional)
Leave «رابط الخط» (font link) empty to keep PingAR LT, the font Angel uses by default, or add your font's link and name. Fonts and store background

Choose the store background color
«لون خلفية المتجر» (store background color) applies to the light appearance only.

Shape the product card
Start with «شكل زوايا بطاقة المنتج وزر الإضافة» (corner shape), «أيقونة زر أضف للسلة» (add-to-cart icon), «مقاس (طول) صورة بطاقة المنتج» (image height) and «طريقة عرض الصور في بطاقة المنتج» (image layout). Product card and discount countdown

Build the home page
Add «صور متحركة (ملاك)» (banner slider) first, then «روابط سريعة (ملاك)» (quick links) and «منتجات (ملاك)» (products). When the banner slider is the first element, you can turn on «دمج الشريط العلوي مع صورة البانر» (merge the header with the banner). Home-page elements

Review the product page
«تثبيت زر الإضافة والكمية أسفل الشاشة» (sticky add-to-cart bar) and «عرض خيارات المنتج على شكل أزرار بدلًا من قائمة» (options as buttons) are on by default. Keep them on or turn them off to suit your store. Product page

Add the WhatsApp button
In the «زر واتساب مَـلاك» (Angel WhatsApp button) group, type your number with the country code, without a + sign or spaces. Cart page and WhatsApp button

Decide on the newsletter
«تفعيل النشرة البريدية أسفل المتجر» (footer newsletter) is on by default, but the form saves no sign-up unless you add a Google Apps Script link in «رابط النشرة البريدية» (newsletter link). If you do not have one, turn the newsletter off. Side menu and footer

Loading screen (optional)
Turn on «تفعيل صفحة التحميل» (enable the loading screen) if you want a screen to show while the home page opens. General settings and the loading screen

Turn off the maintenance page
When you are done, turn off «تفعيل صفحة الصيانة». Maintenance never ends on its own, even after the countdown reaches zero.
