#Saving and publishing

#My changes do not show on the store

  • Check that you saved your changes on the theme customization page.
  • Check that you are editing the published copy of the theme. If you edited an unpublished copy, publish it with (نشر) [Publish] on its card on the store design page, or use (معاينة) [Preview] to see it before publishing.
  • Then refresh the store page in your browser.

#Maintenance and loading screens

#I turned on the maintenance page and cannot see my store

Only customers logged in on the storefront whose mobile number or email is in «المستخدمون المعتمدون» (approved users) get past maintenance. Log in on the store with a customer account, and add that account's mobile number without a + sign or spaces. Details in Maintenance page.

#The countdown ended but maintenance is still on

The countdown does not end maintenance. Turn off «تفعيل صفحة الصيانة» (enable the maintenance page) yourself.

#The loading screen shows the logo, not my image

«أضف رابط صورة» (image link) must contain png, gif or svg, or the store logo shows. Remember too that the loading screen shows on the home page only, unless «عرض في كل الصفحات» (show on all pages) is on.

#The home page

#An element disappeared from every screen

Open the element's «إعدادات عامة للعنصر» (general element settings): if «عرض العنصر في الجوال فقط» (phone only) and «عرض العنصر في الكمبيوتر والتابلت فقط» (desktop and tablet only) are both on, the element disappears from every screen. Turn one off. Also check the two language options and the tab number.

#The home-page tabs do not show

Turn on «تفعيل ميزة تبويبات الرئيسية» (enable home-page tabs) and add at least two tabs in «أضف تبويبات للرئيسية». The tabs show on the home page only.

#The header does not merge with the banner

«دمج الشريط العلوي مع صورة البانر» (merge the header with the banner) works on the home page only, and the first element there must be «صور متحركة (ملاك)» (banner slider).

«ربط الصورة مع نافذة ملاك» (link the image to an Angel window) is on for that image. Turn it off for the link to work, or use the same window name in the image and in «نافذة (ملاك)». See Square images and the Angel window.

#The store features counter does not count

Turn on «تفعيل عداد الأرقام التصاعدي» (counter) for the feature, and write its title as a number only, or as +@500@reviews.

#A discount countdown shows as finished

Some elements come with a countdown turned on and a date that has passed, such as «فاصل (ملاك)» (divider) and «منتج مميز (ملاك)» (featured product). Pick a future date in the date field, or turn the countdown off.

#Products and discounts

#The discount countdown does not show on product cards

Turn on «إظهار عداد الخصم في المتجر كامل» (store-wide discount countdown). The countdown shows on products that have a future discount end date in Salla; otherwise turn on «تفعيل التاريخ الموحد لانتهاء الخصم» (shared end date) and pick a future date.

#A category page banner does not show

Choose at least one category in «اختر التصنيف / التصنيفات» (choose categories) in the banner.

#The coupon code on the product page does not work at checkout

Angel only displays the code. Create the coupon itself in Salla with the same code.

#Appearance and fonts

#The appearance toggle is missing

The toggle only shows when «تلقائي» (automatic) is chosen in «مظهر الثيم» (theme appearance).

#My logo does not show in dark mode

Upload a light version of your logo in «شعار المتجر في المظهر الداكن» (dark-mode logo).

#I added a font and the store lost its font

Check that you filled in both «رابط الخط» (font link) and «اسم الخط» (font name), and that the font name is a single name with no comma. See Fonts and store background.

#An option changes nothing

Some options are in the panel but the current version of Angel does not use them: «شعار المتجر على اليمين بدلًا من المنتصف» (logo on the right), «أضف رابط الصورة» (image link) in the quick links element, and the three animation fields in the banner slider's banners.

#Newsletter sign-ups do not reach me

Without a Google Apps Script link in «رابط النشرة البريدية» (newsletter link), the form saves no sign-up and puts the visitor's email in the page address. Add the link, or turn off «تفعيل النشرة البريدية أسفل المتجر» (footer newsletter). See Side menu and footer.

#The WhatsApp button does not show

Type the full number with the country code, without a + sign or spaces, such as 966543210000. The button does not show if the number has 10 digits or fewer.

Those parts come from your store settings in Salla, and Angel has no fields for them.
